Theresa Holladay OB/GYN in South Bend

Indiana Health Centers is excited to welcome Dr. Theresa Holladay as our latest provider joining our IHC South Bend location and will be providing OB/GYN services. Dr. Holladay believes every woman deserves expert care delivered with dignity, respect, and a real partnership in her own health decisions.

Dr. Holladay is a board-certified OB/GYN physician with nearly three decades of experience in women’s health, holding credentials as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOOG) and a North American Menopause Society Practitioner (NCMP). She has dedicated her career to serving women in community health settings, believing that every patient deserves skilled, personalized care delivered with dignity and respect. Dr. Holladay’s approach centers on shared decision-making and partnering with patients to make informed choices at every stage of life. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, gardening, vintage clothing and shopping, and reading, and cherishes time with her family in Michigan and Indiana. She is delighted to join the Indiana Health Centers team and looks forward to serving the women and families of the South Bend community.

As a member of ACOOG, an OB/GYN has undergone rigorous training. After four years of medical school, they complete four years of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. They may also complete an additional three-year fellowship in the subspecialties of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility, Gynecologic Oncology, or Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstructive Surgery.

To merit certification in obstetrics and gynecology, DOs must pass special oral and written examinations, and while in practice they are evaluated for continuous certification. Certification is maintained through a combination of continuing education, practice assessments, and teaching. Board certified members obtain the title of Fellow and may use the FACOOG credential.
