IHC is excited to announce the recent addition of Rebekah Moore and Catherine Lawhorne to our Bedford, Logansport, and Peru Health Centers.
Rebekah Moore Catherine Lawhorne
BEDFORD – Rebekah Moore DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC has been in nursing for over 20 years. She received her LPN certificate in 2001 and then returned to school for her Associate RN from Ivy Tech in 2007. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC) from IUPUI in 2012. Rebekah spent time as a Psychiatric NP working inpatient and outpatient with all ages. She later decided that she wanted to expand her scope of care and returned to school to receive her second master’s degree as a Family NP (FNP-BC) from University of Cincinnati in 2017. Rebekah began practicing integrated care and believes that the mind and body should be treated as one. She has worked in family practice, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, addictions, and corrections. While she enjoys working with all ages, she has significant experience in perinatal mood disorders, including postpartum depression and working with adolescents. She decided to return to school and complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a specialty in Psychiatry in 2023 at University of South Alabama to be able to provide better care to the community. Rebekah is passionate about supporting the underserved in her community.
LOGANSPORT AND PERU – Catherine Lawhorne is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Indiana. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from Ball State University, as well as her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling also from Ball State University. She has 20 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings, including psychiatric hospitals, corrections, college mental health, private practice, and clinic settings. She takes a holistic approach to mental and behavioral health, with the belief that all aspects of an individual affect all the other aspects of that person. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, practicing yoga, and hanging out with her fur family consisting of several cats and 2 dogs.
