The WIC Program (Women, Infants, and Children) offers services to women who are pregnant, new mothers, women in early postpartum period, infants, and children to the age of 5. Indiana Health Centers’ WIC staff includes nurses, dietitians, lactation consultants, and nutrition assistants at no cost to those who qualify.

WIC Site Supervisor

Elizabeth White joined the IHC WIC team in October of 2023.  She has been a part of the Indiana WIC program since 2010, providing various services to participants including breastfeeding support and nutrition education in several Indiana counties.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science, and a Master’s in Public Health.  Elizabeth is a Certified Health Education Specialist and a Certified Lactation Specialist.  She enjoys using patient-centered counseling skills to empower families to make attainable positive health choices that result in real change.  As a parent and past WIC client herself, she understands the need for quality support during the breastfeeding and parenting journey.  In her leisure time, she loves spending time in nature, having quality time with her family, and walking her dog.
