INDIANA HEALTH CENTERS WOMEN, INFANT & CHILDREN (WIC) SERVICES

The WIC Program (Women, Infants, and Children) offers services to women who are pregnant, new mothers, women in early postpartum period, infants, and children to the age of 5. Indiana Health Centers’ WIC staff includes nurses, dieticians, lactation consultants, and nutrition assistants at no cost to those who qualify. Contact your local IHC WIC for assistance with the following:

  • Food assistance programs – supplemental healthy foods designed to meet special nutrition needs
  • Nutrition/health screening and assessment
  • Nutrition education and counseling
  • Breastfeeding promotion and support
  • Referrals to other Indiana health, family, and social services
